Flota

1987

Flota was the first arabian mare to steal my heart, and she was the one convincing me that I should have even more arabian horses - and breed them myself.
Flota is by the Champion Stallion ETAT, a former breeding sire at Janów Podlaski. Her maternal line, out of FLUKSJA by SET is the highly appriciated F-line of Michalow.
Flota is extremely classic and furthermore very correctly build. She has a short wide head with huge dark eyes, a long and perfectly chaped neck and a well built body with large movements.
Flota has done well in the showring as young, and she is a Champion Producer.
Flota gave birth to her final foal in 2012 - FILUR-B - at the age of 25 years.

I was pleased to have her for 10 years.  Being the natural matriarch of the flock, she was teaching the youngsters good behaviour in her own gentle, but form way.

She was put to sleep November 2013, before the winter set in.

RIP my beloved Queen.
